EVENING - 5 Week Beginners Course Details

This beginners course is an introduction to Yoga taught my Knoff Yoga instructor Lesley Olsen. During the class Lesley works through the Discovery Level 1 syllabus based on the Knoff Yoga School System at a slow pace so it is easy to follow. Demonstrating and talking about each pose first then taking the class through it.

This course offers an introduction to 5 basic elements within yoga:

1. Meditation – Non-religious. Assisting in calming the mind.

2. Pranayama - Breathing exercises increasing your vitality.

3. Postures - Builds strength, flexibility and balance with your body.

4. Relaxation - Helping you to reduce your stress levels.

5. Philosophy - Uplifting thoughts to assist you throughout your life.

MORNING - 5 Week Beginners Course Details

This beginners course is an introduction to Viniyoga taught by Yoga Therapist Sandra Lamari.  Viniyoga is a breath focused yoga that has an emphasis on the function rather than the form in asana practice. Sandra uses modifications to help the pose to be accessible and benefit everyone.

 

During the beginners course Sandra will introduce you to

  1. Pranayama and breath basics.

  2. Asana, their effects and suitable modifications.

  3. Meditation.

 

Completing this beginners course will leave you confident to get the best out of your own yoga practice in the future.
